Navy Polka Dots

Happy Monday everyone!

I had a pretty great weekend.  It was probably one of the laziest weekends I’ve spent at home in a long time.  I typically pack my weekend with chores(some fun and lots just general maintenance), but after Christmas and all the prep for it(both food and cleaning), our house was in pretty great shape and I didn’t need to do too much.

I did some knitting, cleaned and organized my sewing room, ran 9 miles with my dad on Sat. am, saw the Desolation of Smaug, put away Christmas decorations and did laundry/ironing.  I even sat on the couch watching tv for a bit on Saturday and took a short nap on Sunday(WHO AM I?)

Not bad for a relaxing weekend!

I’m not 100% happy with how this outfit turned out.  It looked a lot better in my head.  I don’t think it’s helping that my hair is kinda ratty…I’m hoping to go get it cut next week.  I’m really thinking about cutting it to this length.  I think it’s flattering, but still long enough to do stuff.  I used to think that I HAD to have long hair, but when I go back through my blog, I find the pictures I like the best(in regards to my hair) are from when my hair was that length.

Also, my flash battery was apparently dying so the color is kind of off/dark.

Do you have any NYE plans?  Hubby and I don’t have any for the evening, but we are planning to go over to our friend’s house in the country and shoot bows/hang out on New Years Day.  It should be a fun time.  Hubby is thinking about getting into bow hunting/shooting so he wants to play around with some before he invests his Christmas money into something like that.
